Policies and Procedures

 

  • Clients must be at least 18 years of age, or permission/accompaniment of parent or guardian.
  • Client records and sessions will be kept confidential
  • Arriving 5-10 minutes early, so that the appropriate paperwork and setup can be completed.
  • **Massage is strictly professional in nature. Any suggestive statements or actions will result in immediate termination of the session, and full payment will be expected for scheduled time.
  • All telephones, cell phones, and other electronic devices are suggested to be silenced or turned off during the massage to preserve the tranquility of the experience. but the choice is yours.
  • 24-hour notice is required for all cancellations. Since we are reserving this time especially for you, a minimum of 24-hours’ notice to cancel is required for all services. Should the appointment be cancelled with less than 24-hours’ notice, a percentage of your services may be charged and paid prior to your next appointment.
  • Please reschedule if any signs of illness is present. If a client shows any signs and/or symptoms of illness that may affect the completion of the session, we will reschedule. This is to protect the health of both the client and the therapist. No penalty will occur.
  • We do not accept medical insurance, but we will happily provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company. State tax is collected on sessions held, however, if your doctor has prescribed massage therapy, simply bring a prescription or verbal knowledge , and we can legally waive that sales tax. Also, in the state of NJ, energy modalities (Reflexology/Access Bars) are not taxable.
  • Massage is NOT a substitute for medical care. We are not doctors and are not qualified to diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or perform spinal/skeletal manipulations. Any information imparted by the therapist in the course of treatment should not be construed as such.
  • Payment is expected at the conclusion of the service, However you may purchase Packages, Gift Certificates, or prepay  your session.
  • We accept cash, check, credit cards.  Gratuities are at the discretion of the client.
